Add I.C.E. Users

In I.C.E. CMS, a User is someone who has access to the content management system for one or more Sites. Users can access backend features according to their roles: Designer, Copywriter, Editor, Programmer, Webmaster, Manager, Admin. Users can have multiple Roles.

Designer
A User who can upload or remove Site design assets.

Copywriter
A User who can create and edit Pages.

Editor
A User who has Copywriter privileges but can also manage work done by other Copywriters.

Programmer
A User who can edit Site Channels and their templates.

Webmaster
A user who can manage every aspect of a Site.

Manager
A non-technical User who has access for quality control purposes.

Admin
A user who has full access to all Sites managed with I.C.E. CMS

Adding I.C.E. Users

To add Users, select User in the Create drop down. Enter the user's Name, upload a Photo (optional), then enter their E-mail address (used for login and notifications) and Password. Select the Roles (can select multiple) and Sites (can select multiple) and the Language (the user's default backend language). Finally, set the user's Status to Active then click Save. 

You may change a User's privleges at any time selecting User from the Browse drop-down list and clicking Edit for that User. Users can also change basic information, upload photos etc. by clicking on the Profile icon at the top of the screen.
